The GRE is not just a test of vocabulary or math.
It’s a test of reasoning, structure, and academic readiness.

At Overseas Prep Lab, our GRE preparation is designed for students who want predictable score improvement and a clear path to strong global applications.

We prepare students for the latest GRE format by ETS, using structured teaching, personalised study plans, and deep performance analysis.

What

Is the GMAT Focus Edition?

The GMAT Focus Edition is designed to test decision-making, data analysis, and critical reasoning, rather than memorisation or outdated concepts.

Key Changes Introduced by GMAC

  • Three sections only

    • Quantitative Reasoning

    • Verbal Reasoning

    • Data Insights

  • Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) removed

  • Sentence Correction removed
    Verbal now focuses only on:

    • Reading Comprehension

    • Critical Reasoning

  • Data Insights added
    A new, integrated section combining:

    • Data Sufficiency

    • Table Analysis

    • Graphics Interpretation

    • Multi-Source Reasoning

  • Shorter exam duration
    Approximately 2 hours 15 minutes

  • New score scale
205–805, with more precise differentiation at the top end

  • Greater test-taker flexibility

    • Choose section order

    • Bookmark questions

    • Review and change answers within a section

  • Quantitative syllabus refined

    • No Geometry

    • Stronger emphasis on arithmetic, algebra, and logical problem-solving

What this really means is simple:
business schools want to see how you think, not how much you memorise.

Why

GMAT Focus Requires a Different Prep Strategy

Many students make the mistake of preparing for GMAT Focus using old GMAT material.

That leads to:

  • Misaligned practice
  • Poor Data Insights performance
  • Over-focus on topics no longer tested
  • Inefficient time management

Our GMAT Focus prep is redesigned from the ground up — aligned with GMAC’s official framework, not legacy GMAT coaching.
